My brother had a similar situation. He also didn’t complete his studies in Turkey and left them pending. Later, we visited the Turkish Embassy in our country, and they assisted us with further support. I suggest you visit your nearest Turkish Embassy as well — I hope your issue will be resolved too.

I had a similar issue and later came to know that the supporting document (such as a visa or residence permit) must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival. If you have another valid supporting document, you can apply online. Otherwise, you will need to apply through the Turkish Embassy, as I had to.

Hey Saima, I had the same concern. I contacted the support team, and they told me to enter the expiry date of my share code to proceed further. I did the same and got my eVisa approved within minutes. I suggest you do the same — I had a wonderful trip to Turkey!

My friend is also from Eritrea and was looking to apply for an eVisa. He has a U.S. Green Card, but we found out that he is not eligible for an eVisa. So, we went through the regular visa process via the embassy instead. I hope this information help you

Hey Gamal, I recently had a similar situation during my travels. My layover was for 8 hours, and when I contacted the immigration department, they informed me that as long as I stay in the transit area, no visa is needed. I hope this information helps you too!

Hi Ibrahim, Welcome to the community! I recently went through the process myself, so happy to share some info. Kenyan passport holders are not eligible to apply for an e-visa, and rather, you have to go through the regular visa process via the Turkish embassy in Sweden.
