I received a ban for overstaying in turkey although I was applying for a residency permit, border control gave me documentation and instructed that I should obtain a visa from the embassy in scotland to return during the ban duration

I am a citizen of Tajikistan currently residing in Copenhagen with a valid Danish residence permit. I am an international exchange student at the University of Copenhagen.

I would like to apply for a tourist visa to Turkey. Could you please confirm whether I can submit my visa application at your Embassy in Copenhagen, or if I need to apply from my home country?

My name is Mardhia Jamal Hussein, an Iraqi citizen currently residing in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. I am writing with sincere respect to kindly request your guidance regarding my visa application under the current exceptional circumstances.

I have recently been selected to participate in the Young Leaders Summer Academy 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, scheduled from 5 July to 8 July 2026. This opportunity is deeply meaningful to me. Over the past years, I have worked with dedication in the fields of civil society, youth engagement, and environmental initiatives, always striving to grow, contribute, and represent my community in meaningful international spaces. Being selected for this program feels like an important step forward in that journey.

At this stage, I am fully prepared to proceed, and the organizers will provide all necessary visa support documents. However, due to the current situation, the German Consulates in Erbil and Baghdad are temporarily closed, and I am unable to submit my visa application within Iraq.

I am therefore kindly reaching out to ask whether, given these circumstances, it would be possible for me to submit my visa application at your mission in Turkey, even though I do not hold a Turkish residence permit.

I have come a long way in working toward opportunities like this, and I am now just one step away. The only remaining barrier is the ability to apply for and obtain the visa. I would be truly grateful for any guidance or consideration you can offer to help me move forward.

E-visa requirements for family

We are a family of four currently in Syria, planning to travel to Sweden. I and my two children (7 and 4) hold Swedish travel documents. My husband holds a Syrian passport and a valid Swedish permanent residence permit. We intend to cross into Turkey via a land border and would like to know if visas or additional documents are required for entry.

Add New Person not working

I am applying for a family visa via the portal, but whenever I click the Add New Person it takes me to the details verification step, and then payment for my visa only, and I am unable to add my family members. Need a quick resolution please.
