Since I was travelling for my studies, I had to apply through the Turkish Embassy/Consulate instead. They guided me through the process and issued the appropriate visa. After that, I was able to travel to Northern Cyprus and complete my studies there. Since your niece is travelling to Northern Cyprus for university, I think it's best to contact the Turkish Embassy or Consulate that serves your area. They can advise you on the correct visa type (including whether a transit visa is needed) and the documents required for her specific situation.

Hi Ammar, I was in a similar situation recently. The 8-day duration of stay on the Schengen visa only applies to the time you are allowed to spend in the Schengen Area. It does not limit how long you can stay in Turkey. As long as your Turkish e-Visa is valid and you meet its conditions (including having a valid supporting Schengen visa when required), you can stay in Turkey for the period permitted by your Turkish e-Visa, even after you have left the Schengen Area. Just make sure you do not exceed the allowed stay on your Turkish e-Visa and that your supporting Schengen visa remains valid during your travel. Have a great trip!

Also, they need to provide the supporting document (a valid visit visa or residence permit from the USA, the UK, Ireland, or any Schengen country).
