For the Turkey eVisa application, you must provide a valid supporting document such as a visa or residence permit from the Schengen Area, U.S., U.K., or Ireland. Documents from any other country will not be accepted. Since BRPs have expired, you can still mention your UK share code in the supporting documents section. Be sure to provide the code number, and the expiry date of the share code while filling out the form. Before applying, please also check if your nationality is eligible for an online eVisa. If it’s not, you will need to apply directly through the Turkish Embassy. Since you’re flying Wizz and Indigo on separate tickets, you’ll most likely need to collect your bags and re-check them. That means you’ll have to go through immigration — and yes, in that case, you’d need a Turkish visa to pass through immigration, even if it’s just for a short while. If it were a single through-ticket with luggage checked all the way, you could just stay in transit without a visa. But because this is a self-transfer, a visa is required. Safe travel!
