We are US citizens. We will take Turkish Airlines from Nice France to Seattle through Istanbul. We will arrive Istanbul on March 30 2026, The next flight departs at 14:55 on March 31. We will go the hotel outside of airport in Istanbul. Do we need a visa for this overlay? Your advice is appreciated.

Transit Visa to Istanbul

Hi My wife is traveling from Stockholm to Riyadh and have a transit time (about 3 hours) in Istanbul. She has a Yemeni passport. Does she need a transit visa?
And if so when can we get it knowing that the flight is scheduled on 10th December.

Is Transit Visa required?

Hi,

I have a transit at Istanbul on Dec 7th, 2025. I am traveling from Doha to Hamburg with one layover at Istanbul. (1hours 50 mins) .

I have an EU blue card visa and an Indian passport.
I have a single ticket for both my flights but they are with different airlines. My Doha -> Istanbul flight is with Qatar airlines and Istanbul to Hamburg is with Ajet airline.

Is a transit visa required for me ?
