Seaman Transit visa applications

Hallo Sir and Madam,

I need to join mv Sofia next week during her transit Istanbul strait. As Syrian national I didn’t find my country in the list of evisa, I live in Deutschland and holding a residency permit valid until 26.10.2027.
Could you please advise me how I can apply for such visa and what documents I need.

My ticket specifies self-transfer. I am writing to confirm whether I
require a transit visa for my upcoming layover at Istanbul IST
Airport.

My travel details are:

Date of travel: 14 December

Route: Frankfurt → Istanbul (IST) → Delhi

Layover duration at Istanbul: 1 hour 10 minutes

Baggage: Only hand baggage and cabin baggage (no checked baggage)

Nationality / travel documents: Indian passport holder

Residence permit: German student residence card

Because I am on separate PNRs and will need to self-transfer, could
you please advise whether a transit visa is required for my situation?

Transitvisum in Turkey

Hello, I and my family (Wife and son) are travelling from Sweden to Afghanistan and will have an 8-hour stop in Turkey before taking our next flight. I and my son are swedish citizen but my wife holds an Afghan passport, and we would like to know whether she needs a transit visa for Turkey.We will remain inside the airport during the entire layover, but we will need to collect our checked luggage and check it in again for the next flight in the same airport. I have read on the Turkey e-Visa website that a transit visa is not required if you stay inside the airport.Given this situation, does my wife still need a transit visa?

We are US citizens. We will take Turkish Airlines from Nice France to Seattle through Istanbul. We will arrive Istanbul on March 30 2026, The next flight departs at 14:55 on March 31. We will go the hotel outside of airport in Istanbul. Do we need a visa for this overlay? Your advice is appreciated.

Is Transit Visa required?

Hi,

I have a transit at Istanbul on Dec 7th, 2025. I am traveling from Doha to Hamburg with one layover at Istanbul. (1hours 50 mins) .

I have an EU blue card visa and an Indian passport.
I have a single ticket for both my flights but they are with different airlines. My Doha -> Istanbul flight is with Qatar airlines and Istanbul to Hamburg is with Ajet airline.

Is a transit visa required for me ?
