Wrong passport type in visa.

I had a similar situation before, so I wanted to share what I learned. Unfortunately, the passport type on a Türkiye e-Visa must match the actual passport you will be traveling with. If the wrong passport type was selected — even by mistake — the issued visa becomes invalid for travel.

The good news is that this is easy to fix. You will need to submit a new application using the correct passport type (“Ordinary Passport”). Türkiye e-Visas are usually processed quickly, so you should receive the new one without much delay. You can easily apply for a new e-visa here: https://turkey-evisa.it.com/application/.

It’s better to apply again now rather than risk being denied boarding or entry.
