We both had the same type of documents — Indian passports, living in the U.S. under Adjustment of Status, with approved Advance Parole (Form I-131), but no valid U.S. visa or green card yet. When we tried to apply for the Turkey eVisa, the system didn’t let us proceed because it specifically required either a valid U.S. visa or a green card. So, in the end, we had to apply for a regular (sticker) visa through the Turkish Embassy or Consulate. Based on our experience, if you’re in a similar situation, it’s better to apply for a regular visa instead of an eVisa.
