What are the Turkey eVisa Photo Guidelines?
Following are the photo guidelines you should follow to make sure your photo is compliant for Turkey eVisa application:
- Photo Quality: The uploaded photo should be free of any blurs or pixelation as bad quality photos can lead to resubmissions.
- Taken Recently: The photo must be taken within the last 6 months of the application and it must reflect your current appearance.
- Clear White Background: Make sure the photo is taken against a plain white background which is free of any patterns or distractions.
- Proper Lighting: Take the photo in a well lit room so your face and the background are evenly lit and free of shadows.
- Maintain Neutral Expressions: Do not smile or frown in the photo, keep a plain face.
- Full Face Visibility: Your face must remain fully visible from forehead to chin. Avoid wearing any head coverings or fashion accessories.
- Straight Head Position: Keep your head upright and look directly at the camera.
- Avoid Wearing Glasses: Only medically prescribed glasses are allowed, make sure there is no glare or tint on the glasses.
- Skip White Outfits: As the white colour can blend with the background, wear a darker or contrasting colour.
- No Filters or Edits: The photo must be free of any edits or filters. Natural features, including scars must remain visible.
Guidelines for Minors and Infants
Minors and infants generally follow the same guidelines as above. A few additional guidelines apply for infants:
- Keep the Frame Clear: Only the infant should appear in the photo. Remove pacifiers, toys or any other objects.
- No Visible Hands: Make sure no hands are visible supporting or holding the infant for the photo.
- If the Infant Cannot Sit Upright: Lay the infant on a plain white cloth and take the photo from above.
- Eyes Open: The eyes of the infant must remain open and clearly visible.
