I am currently a student in North Cyprus with a valid residence permit until 29 September 2026. I am planning to apply for a Turkish Language Course visa and will obtain an acceptance letter from a university in Turkey.
The university has advised me to consult the Consulate before proceeding with the payment and acceptance letter process.
Before I continue, I would like to kindly ask for your guidance. If I apply around June or July, my residence permit will have approximately 2–3 months validity remaining. Would this be acceptable for the visa application, or should I renew my residence permit first?
Also, would this situation have any impact on the visa approval process?
I would greatly appreciate your advice before I proceed further.
