Before starting your Turkey eVisa application, check the requirements based on your nationality and applicable eVisa type. Gather all the necessary documents in advance to avoid any application delays.

Nationality-Based Requirement
If required for your nationality, provide ONE of the following:
- Valid Sticker Visa
- Residence Permit
Note: The document must be issued by the USA, the UK, Ireland, or a Schengen country.
Common Document Requirements for Turkey eVisa
Irrespective of the nationality or selected eVisa type (tourist/business or transit), all the applicants should submit the following document.
1. Applicant’s Passport Biopage Scan
- Submit a clear scan of their valid passport’s biopage.
- All the information, including the MRZ code must remain readable.
- The edges of the passport biopage must not be cropped out.
The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Turkey.
2. Recent Photo of the Applicant
- The photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
- Full face of the applicant from forehead to chin must remain visible.
- The photo must be free of any edits, shadows, or glare.
Note: Prescribed glasses are allowed as long as there’s no glare on the lenses and your eyes remain fully visible.
Nationality-Based Requirement for Turkey Tourist/Business eVisa
The Turkey eVisa Policy requires applicants from certain nationalities to submit any ONE of the following additional documents.
A Valid Sticker Visa OR Residence Permit issued by the USA, UK, Ireland, or any Schengen country.
A. Sticker Visa
B. Residence Permit
What is Not Accepted for the Application?
- eVisas
- Expired sticker visa or residence permit
- Supporting documents issued by countries other than the USA, UK, Ireland, or Schengen countries
Requirements for Turkey Airport Transit eVisa Applicants
Turkey Airport Transit eVisa applicants only need to upload the common requirements at the time of application:
- Passport biopage scan
- Recent digital photo
Additionally, during the visa application process, they must provide details for any ONE of the following:
- Ticket number of their confirmed flight.
- Reference number of their flight booking.
