Turkey offers 2 types of eVisas, and eligibility varies depending on the applicants nationality: 

1. Turkey Tourist/Business eVisa 

Eligible applicants fall into one of the following categories:

Eligible to Apply Without Supporting Documents 

Applicants from certain nationalities can apply directly using only a valid passport.

Eligible to Apply with Supporting Documents

Applicants from certain nationalities must also hold ONE valid supporting document, such as a valid visa or residence permit issued by the Schengen Area, the USA, the UK, or Ireland.

2. Turkey Transit eVisa 

Issued to travellers transiting through Turkey to a third destination.
